Config management can be extremely challenging. In this webinar we’ll explain how developers describe their workload and dependencies using Score (7k+ starts on GitHub). We’ll also demonstrate how the Humanitec Platform Orchestrator, integrated into your CI/CD flow, generates standardized app and infra configs based on the deployment context.

In this webinar we’ll cover:

  • Why static config management hinders productivity
  • How Score, a new open source specification, solves config drift across environments
  • How an IDP built around a Platform Orchestrator drives standardization by design and improves the developer experience

After a 30-minute talk there will be a 15-minute Q&A, for which we encourage you to submit questions in advance.

Need to drop off early? No worries! A webinar recording and related materials will be shared with all attendees after the event.

Audience - who should join?

Platform Engineers, DevOps Engineers, Site Reliability Engineers, System Engineers, Infrastructure Kubernetes Administrators, Technical Architects, Application Developers with an affinity with DevOps and Technical Management.

Drew has been working in IT since the early 90s CD-ROM revolution and Windows 3.1. He purchased his first copy of Red Hat Linux in a box in ‘97 - never did get the sound card drivers to work, but had the Linux bug from there on out. In the year 2000 he joined his first tech startup just a few months before the crash. Despite the rocky start he got the startup bug and hasn’t stopped since. During that time he spent 7 years helping to build Splunk from the ground up. After Splunk he dove into distributed systems and containers at Mesophere. When Kubernetes came along he moved over to Heptio - if you can’t beat ‘em join ‘em. After Heptio got acquired he continued his journey into Dev/Ops, spending time at both Tigera and Harness. Since joining Humanitec in July 2022 he’s gone all in on the evolution of Dev/Ops into Platform Engineering.
