Cluster & GPU Orchestration

From creating, managing and updating clusters and GPUs at scale to efficient multi-tenancy.

Create clusters while enforcing rules

Define when and how clusters are created based on the environment context. Reuse templates built in any IaC format such as Terraform, Pulumi, Crossplane. Share resource definitions across many clusters to keep them in sync and up to date. Work with Kubernetes or GPU clusters across any cloud.

Nail multi-tenancy and multicloud.

Allocate clusters and let the Platform Orchestrator partition them efficiently into smaller units that users can consume. Orchestrate the usage across any cloud and on-prem.

Pre-package apps
and models

Provide users with a unified interface to launch and compose applications on clusters you provide. Pre-package AI models, services or whole apps, including all dependent resources.

Update and maintain as a fleet

As cluster resource definitions can be shared across many workloads, a single file can be used to update all your clusters. The Platform Orchestrator will make sure to dynamically update all clusters depending on the same definition. This makes it easy and lightweight to keep a large number of instances on the latest standards.

A unified API and UI to map dependencies

How many idle resources do you have today? How do you make sure unused resources are sunset? The Platform Orchestrator and Portal give you a single API and pane of glass to answer such questions with ease and sunset at scale and securely.

How it works

The Platform Orchestrator creates/updates a fleet of clusters based on rules provided by the platform team. Rules are matched to context specific requirements for granular cluster definitions on a environment by environment basis. The Humanitec Portal allows you to visualize what’s running where.
It allowed us to streamline our operations without compromising on quality or security.

We had planned 24 months to get our V1 for the IDP. With Humanitec we had a first MVP after 24 minutes.

There’s so much noise in the platform engineering space. Reference architectures helped us get the design and starting point right.
