Many teams limit themselves to a small number of static environments like Dev and Staging because they are afraid of losing overview and breaking things. This slows down innovation, velocity in development and compromises developers’ autonomy. For example, they cannot spin up environments on demand to run some tests on their own and experiment with new technology.

On the other hand, with a growing number of environments, services, deployments and dependencies (think of databases, DNS, etc.) it can get really hard to keep track of all changes. This increases the risks of broken environments.

To tackle these problems, in this webinar you will learn:

  • How to decouple environment variables from application code
  • How to store and manage environment variables
  • How to version, track, and diff your environments

After a 30 minutes talk, there will be 15 minutes for Q&A.

Audience - who should join?

DevOps Engineers, Site Reliability Engineers, Platform Engineers, System Engineers, Infrastructure Kubernetes Administrators, Technical Architects, Application Developers with an affinity with DevOps and Technical Management
