Humanitec is proud to be featured in the Gartner Cool Vendors In Platform Engineering for Improving Developer Experience Report. The report highlights vendors that help address critical platform engineering needs, including the orchestration of software delivery, infrastructure provisioning, and configuration management.
According to Gartner, Humanitec “enables organizations to build internal developer platforms that serve both platform engineering and product engineering needs.” The Platform Orchestrator allows platform teams to “wire up underlying platform components” and provide golden paths for software delivery teams. Product teams also benefit, Gartner writes, from “increased productivity, lower cognitive load and a better developer experience – by using templatized, self-service capabilities to create and manage development, test and production environments.”
“Our inclusion in the Cool Vendor report by Gartner confirms two important things,” said Kaspar von Grünberg, CEO of Humanitec. “First, platform engineering is taking the world by storm. Second, Humanitec is at the forefront of this movement.”
Gartner’s report urges platform leaders to “assess innovative vendors” like Humanitec that can help enforce governance policies across their organization, while enabling developer self-service.
