I recently attended the virtual German Robotframework Online Konferenz 2020. Over 150 participants from the German Robotframework community got together to connect and deliver a series of talks and workshops.
I gave a talk, “Test automation in Kubernetes.” I started with a brief introduction to Kubernetes, followed by explaining why Kubernetes is important to me as a test engineer.
Then, with a quick live demonstration, I showed how an automation test suite can be executed inside a cluster. This was followed by an introduction to the in-house test setup and test infrastructure at Humanitec. Last, but not least, I demonstrated how easy it is to spin up a test environment for your system under test conditions with Humanitec.
The talk was given in German, but I hope to soon have the opportunity to also give this talk in English.
