Kubernetes can be a very powerful technology when set up the right way for developers to consume it. But managing all necessary application configurations across different clusters at scale is far from trivial.
While the individual change to a values.yaml file is comparably simple, managing such changes at scale can become draining and very time consuming.
In this workshop, Humanitec’s CTO Chris Stephenson will show how teams can use Humanitec to streamline app config management in a multi-cluster setup.
He will show:
- How to set up and customize your baseline YAML
- How to wire up your K8s setup using GKE and EKS clusters as examples
- How developers apply diffs to the baseline YAML to create context specific manifests with every deployment.
After a 30 minutes demo, there will be 15 minutes for Q&A. We’d like to encourage you to submit your questions in advance.
A recording of the workshop and related materials will be shared with all attendees afterwards.
