Andrew Fong is a platform and infrastructure veteran. He was responsible for internal platforms and infrastructure at companies like AOL, Youtube and Dropbox - in short: the internet.
In his talk, Andrew will share his experience building and rolling out developer platforms across engineering organizations. Using the examples of Pulumi, Terraform and SDK, he will dive into how to create a consistent infrastructure layer as the basis for a bullet proof production management platform.
He will discuss:
- Key decisions to design processes in engineering organizations
- Principles around testing production system configurations
- Design principles for production systems
- What he will not say: which tech is better.
After a 30 minutes talk, there will be 15 minutes for Q&A. We’d like to encourage you to submit your questions in advance.
A recording of the webinar and related materials will be shared with webinar attendees afterwards.
